My sweet little daughter helped me to paint the window frames today. They are for the Café.

This shelf will be placed in the pentry (see below). I put some Tacky wax under each item, so they remain on the shelf. Of course this is how the swedish items looks like, it´s flour, sifted rye flour, sugar, salt, coffee (from my hometown) and some more things.

Well of course there must be some candy, cookies and bread for the customer when they visit the Café.

Miniature Fair Stockholm 2011

Hi everybody, I´m back and it feels so good. Don´t know what happened but suddenly I didn´t have time for my miniatures. But one thing that I did not miss was the miniature fair in Stockholm in October 2011. Of course I found a lot of things to buy from some of the fantastic miniature enthusiasts here in Sweden.

Some of this I bought from Minimismått&sånt and some of it from what name I don´t remember (sorry).  

So lovely macarones from Marias Miniatyrer, they reminds me of my visit in Paris .

Those lovely things I bought from Miniatyrmama. I will put all of it in my Café.

PiaMarias food look so real. Here is some blueberry cream and semlor. I think semlor is Swedish, they are filled with cream and almond paste, so yummy.

Shopping in Paris

Vive la France! I visited Paris in June. What a beautiful city with so much to experience. One of all the nice thing that happened was that I found a miniature store close to Saucre coeur, Dentelles et Ribambelle.

The store is so cute. In the picture you can see my daughter and my friend with her two daughters. Only girls on this trip.

Of course I did some shopping. I bought some things to the Café.

In a souvenir shop at Louvren I found this box of wine, perfect as magnum bottles.

Even if I haven´t been so active on the blogg there have happened things in the Café. Here I show you two pictures.

Birthday

This post from my daughter´s birhday disappeared for some reason. So I publish it again but not with the same words : ). Here she show a birthday present to her Lundby dollhouse. It´s a set with a televion.

Repainting

I gave these two chairs some new paint and I think they look very nice.

The toilet got a black seat.

New things!

Look what lovely things I received in the mail today. I bought this from My Tiny World, thanks Lena for the tip. Now I´m eager to move in. But there is a lot of things left to do so I better get started.

At last, spring is here and it´s getting warm. I spend most of my spare time outside so there has not been to much time for my café. But this evening I painted the first coat of paint on the facade. And the door I painted in black.

Happy Easter

Easter bunny has been here and the hunt for easter eggs are over!

A microwave oven....

....is necessary in the café so that customers can be served warm cupcakes, yummy. I bought the microwave and the two cute paintings from Minimi´s smått och sånt.

These lovely things I bought at Blondie Creations. I will use the baking tins and the big cutlerys in the Café.

Floor and wallpaper

I decided to write in English on the blog so it becomes easier for you all outside Sweden to follow . This is the café I´m working on, the floor has been painted white and a wallpaper that looks like bricks is up.

Cafét

Entrédörren till cafét har anlänt. Har inte bestämt om den ska vara svart eller vit än, får fundera en stund till.

Har även köpt lite miniatyrer till servering. Dom får vänta ett tag till innan dom ska fyllas med godsaker.

Väggbonad

Lite fina ord att hänga på väggen i form av en väggbonad har fått sin plats i hallen.

I flickrummet.....

......har det möblerats om.

Golvläggning i Cafét

Nu har trägolvet kommit på plats, självklart på samma sätt som i den stora världen. Hantverkaren i huset har gett instruktion om att golvet ska ligga i fallande längder. Ska plocka fram penseln och få på lite färg också. Där klinkern ligger ska det bli en toalett.

Nytt projekt

Jag har en tid funderat på att göra ett miniatyrcafé, och idag satte jag igång. Jag ska använda mej av en vinlåda. Det ska bli jättekul att få inreda och dekorera, cafét ska också bli det nya hemmet för alla stolar som har blivit till.

I målarverkstan......

......har det målats vitt. Elin Wägners stol är vit som original. Ur-Pinnstolen och pigsoffan fanns det ingen färgbeskrivning på, så då fick det naturligvis bli vitt där också.
